- Extra! Extra! Ponchoguy in the News! - Back in August of 2000, I was relaxing at home reading the local paper when I happened upon an article entitled, "Wheels in Motion". As I proceeded to read the article, I was annoyed that the staff writer said, "Cars today have charisma, style, soul---unlike their 1970's counterparts". Not one to take that lying down, I fired off an e-mail to the editor of that paper and told him that if he wanted an "exception to his rule to send a reporter and a photographer---but both better be prepared to be wowed". When they sent the reporter, he turned out to be none other than a former coworker of my great uncle Carmine in NYC's DEP. I proceeded to show him a 7" thick scrapbook of everything I had on the car, including letters from prior owners, GM confidential documents and everything imaginable pertaining to this 10th Anniversary Trans Am. The article says it all :).

- Products of the 80's---We are the Breakfast Club - This is the website of my good friend, Steve Lee. Steve and I have been friends since 1977 when we used to play baseball in what is now Anthony Gaeta park in Staten Island, NY. Though we haven't hung out on a regular basis everyday since we went to separate high schools in the fall of 1985, we never have lost touch. Steve is one of the best friends a guy could ask for. Sorry ladies, he's taken. But, yours truly is single. LOL :)

- Forgotten Things of NY - This is a VERY cool website with information about products,things, sights, sounds, subways, and everything NY that we've forgotten about---except remnants of them still remain. Quite cool!
- The Splendid 70's - For those of us born in the seventies (raises hand), this might bring back some memories. Excepting the music, some of the cars, and lost loved ones, there's no much else of the 70's that might be good to remember---lol. Although, the styles are back again :).
- Great DIY information - All I can say is that Jeff's website is top notch if you are an avid DIY guy like me who fixes everything for his mom, including her appliances. Through Jeff's website, I have repaired it all---and with ease and on the first try.
Jeff is also a wizard and a helluva nice guy.
- Birds Abroad - This is a website that belongs to William, a friend who I help with his Firebird. William is from Belgium, and owns a couple of Firebirds. He often will e-mail me with questions on his vehicles---it is very tough and expensive to buy and maintain cars like this in his country!
Way to go William!
- Lyrics Library - Pretty cool if you like music lyrics or you're sitting there wondering, "What do they say in that song?? Can't figure it out".LOL
- High School Alumni Online Reunions - A good place to catch up with old classmates and see what they've been doing since high school.
- Google, the best Search Engine :) - This is a great search engine! :)
- The Future of DIY..... - This is a Do-It-Yourself Help web board started by my friend Mike Merritt, who owns Merritt Motors Small Engine Repair in Columbus, MS. I am also one of the founding Administrators of this site as well. Come by and have a look!

Mike is a seasoned small engine professional and he and I have restored many junkers to jewels together (even though we are thousands of miles apart!!!)
